Louder & Percolate are proud to announce that Armin van Buuren, one of the world's most celebrated electronic artists, will be headlining High Lights on Saturday 23rd May 2026 with his ground breaking, immersive live show: Armin van Buuren Presents The Orb.
Returning for its third edition, High Lights transforms Barking Park into an otherworldly landscape of sound, performance, and large-scale art installations. With Hybrid Minds, Scorpion Kings and the influential underground brand FUSE already announced, High Lights is set to become a beacon of electronic music in East London this summer. After two successful editions in 2025 and 2024 featuring an array of electronic artists from Carl Cox, Gorgon City, Elderbrook, Josh Baker, Frank Wah, Chris Stussy, Max Cooper, Enzo Siragusa, Elderbrook, Mathame, Kölsch & many more.
Prepare for an extraordinary Bank Holiday Weekend, with the striking architectural structures and illuminated woodland pathways of Barking Park. High Lights concept came to fruition by enlisting renowned design studio Lucid Creates as creative partners. Lucid have described it as a huge overhead installation with a brutalist, concrete facade. Distinctive, geometric shapes span into thoughtfully considered proportions, shapes and dimensions which will provide a sense of weight, permanence and surrealism as the 'concrete blocks' float, weightlessly in mid-air above the audience, Integrated with all of the visual-tech trimmings.

Recognised as one of electronic music's most influential figures, Armin van Buuren brings a visionary new chapter of his live performance career to High Lights. The Orb is a futuristic audiovisual experience centred around a vast spherical structure that surrounds the DJ in a 360-degree environment of light, motion graphics, and cinematic storytelling.
Following sold-out showcases across the globe, The Orb has captivated audiences with its scale, spectacle and emotional depth — blending Armin's signature sound with state-of-the-art production to create an immersive journey unlike anything else in dance music today. Known for global anthems such as "Blah Blah Blah," "This Is What It Feels Like," "In and Out of Love" and countless trance classics, Armin remains one of the most in-demand performers on the planet.
His High Lights Festival debut promises a transformative experience, uniting cutting-edge design with the uplifting, high-energy sound that has defined his career for more than two decades. High Lights Festival continues to push boundaries in London's cultural landscape, integrating large-format art with contemporary electronic music. Armin van Buuren's monumental new show will serve as the centrepiece of Saturday's programming, setting the stage for the festival's biggest year yet.
"The Orb" is Armin van Buuren's immersive, narrative-driven live show, a multi-sensory experience that premiered in 2024 and is part of his ongoing world tour. It features extended sets with exclusive tracks, real-time visuals, and a large, illuminated LED orb structure, designed to create a unique and emotional atmosphere. The show's name and concept are connected to the themes of change and cycles explored in his 2024 album, Breathe.
A 9-meter-diameter orb with internal and external LEDs, synchronized with motion-head lights, creates an immersive atmosphere. The show includes extended sets, exclusive tracklists, and unreleased music, all part of a narrative journey. The show's themes of constant change and cycles are inspired by his 2024 album, Breathe. The show debuted at Red Rocks in November 2024 and has since toured globally, including locations like Los Angeles and Istanbul.

Renowned design studio Lucid Creates as creative partners. Lucid Creates make award-winning structures, spaces and immersive public art installations which encourage and enable community, sustainability and inclusivity. Lucid are responsible for some of the largest stages in the UK including the colossal Runway Stage at Creamfields Festival.
Lucid are leading on all things design and build, they will also be responsible for the show design, visuals and lighting design. Both the artists and the Percolate team have confirmed that the design will be developed further in the coming years.
